The young person talks very fondly of staff in the home and they are now more capable of managing their behaviour and we have seen a significant improvement in how they deal with their emotions – credit to the staff who deal with them on a regular basis

The support worker showed warmth, empathy and understanding towards the young person’s emotions and addressed their needs and acknowledged their feelings. The support worker encouraged the young person to draw out the positives of what was a very upsetting and emotional situation for them.
